'Gap' funding could be announced!
the Purdue deal was released Oct 1st,
Three days later it was announced the funding proposal had been submitted!!!!!

And gap funding for MRSA and Staph identification would be a very hot topic indeed!
Several groups are probably interested in doing something, in my opinion.
