yes, FDA funding makes sense as well, since they oversee everything
except for what the USDA handles.
Even though it was the USDA who had the resources to help
bring forward both the MIT and the BARDOT.

Theres a beautiful circle here with Haavig coming from Purdue, getting
the MIT1000 built with some assistance from the USDA, then
going back to Purdue when its ready and link up with another
entity that has done the same thing, the same way and with
some of the same technologies.

Looking into the Purdue group, you will also see two of the same names
from the USDA that actually helped write the review for the MIT1000.
And they are still listed as collaborators with Dr Bhunia and his Lab.

So this is an awesome development imo.......
they could very well redesign the MIT and bring both new devices forward
at the same time to the AOAC
sOMEHOW THEY HAVE FOUND A WAY TO MAKE IT BENEFICIAL TO BOTH...
