He mentioned that O'care is separating many high-cost cancer patients from their existing insurance coverage, forcing them to pay for treatments out of pocket or face the abyss. The cost can run $15,000 for a single treatment. It's almost impossible to replicate the insurance they had for an affordable price. Because of all the restrictions, glitches and gotchas in O'care, a number of Stage 4 cancer patients may be running out of luck and out of time, he said.
