After-hours buzz: GM, Ford & Texas Instruments

General Motors Shares climbed 1.2 percent after news that the U.S. Department of the Treasury had sold all of its remaining shares in the car manufacturer. Shares of GM competitor Ford Motor edged higher.
Texas Instruments Shares fell in after-hours trading after the maker of semiconductors narrowed its fourth-quarter outlook.
Comtech Telecommunications The maker of advanced-communications systems hiked its per-share earnings estimate for the recently started fiscal year to $1.12 to $1.25 on revenue of $325 million to $345 million and hiked its annual dividend target to $1.20 a share, up 10 cents. The company’s board also authorized the doubling of its stock repurchase program to $100 million. Its shares rallied nearly 7 percent in extended-hours trading.
