Simply killing cancer cells (and not say pre cancerous cell types) does not cure one of cancer. True testing for antigen specific marker may show the cancer is cured (low level of specific antigen) but cancer involves genetic mutations, thru genetic pathways, that as an end result turn on an Oncogene and turn off A TNF (tumor necrosis factor gene). You are not cured from a genetic stand point. Possibly niched adult cancer stem cells are still in play. Really what has to be accomplished is gene silencing tactics.
