Re: Sunnybank #1592
its highly possible that Purdue will do some engineering to the MIT1000.
So that at the very least it will become a part of the 'automation' of
the bardot systems.
if they add any innovations, i believe it goes back to the
AOAC just to prove it has only been innovated or possibly upgraded.
but if its re-engineered from its original spec.'s then the cert process
would probably need to be revisited.
imo, you will be able to purchase the MIT with or without the BARDOT,
depending on your needs
And any MIT for use with the BARDOT will need to be ordered
specifically for that purpose.
Because there most likely would be slight differences and the manufacturing
of the products will likely be somewhat different, so that it can hook right in
with the bardot system perfectly aligned in every aspect and
anything else it may need so that it fits in with the system of operations,
that they might be thinking of incorporating.
....
Its possible from what mr Haavig said, they want to get it approved to work with food.
Pretty sure that requires another cert.....
....
but that does not hold up our current product
and when it does get finished it will give customers another opportunity
to reflect on their testing options and what they desire....
what else may happen to it i dont know.
they have a full blown team of disciplines over there at the Purdue lab.
so after the initial system they agree upon, they might actually begin
re-engineering the MIT for use in the future.
they have so much technology its hard to imagine they wouldnt try it.
...
so i think we are on two paths for our product development now,
one with Purdue and one with OSIS
...
what do you think, sound reasonable
thank you
mrw
