Grants & Contracts News! Sharp Collaborates on Pathogen Detection
A recent Wall Street Journal article featured the collaboration between Dr. Josh
Sharp, Biology, and Micro Imaging Technology (MIT). The partnership between the
Sharp Lab and MIT will eventually allow for rapid identification of bacteria
pathogens. Outcomes of this research are expected to significantly impact patient
healthcare outcomes.

Ten faculty members received Reassigned Time Awards for Winter 2014. The

Dallas Drake, Drafted by the Detroit Red Wings and won a Stanley Cup with the Red
Wings in 2008. Also the former captain of the St. Louis Blues of the National
Hockey League, currently retired.
