We've been aware of the Knott lease for a long time.
When we PR'd the Knott lease, it was listed under the letter of intent as a possible lease we were looking at acquiring to drill on (as per the LoI).
To answer literally 95% of the questions on this: It has nothing to do with Treaty, other than we were looking at potentially acquiring and drilling on the lease. We opted to not acquire it. We guess that TNC looked at the selling documents and bought it. End of story.
TNC is its own company and can do whatever they want to do. When we brought this rumor to management, they responded with, "Glad someone bought that lease. What does it have to do with us? We didn't want it."
The story that's somehow attached to these documents is nothing but rumor and speculation created by iHub and others. We keep telling EVERYONE that their information is usually faulty or completely misleading. This is the perfect example of it. This story is pure gossip. Its the same story as if a person you know looked at a house for sale down the street, had gone under contract to purchase it, then decided not to purchase it opting for another house. Then when someone else you know bought it a rumor starts when someone says, "DID YOU HEAR THAT THEY HAD THE HOUSE STOLEN FROM THEM?! LOL WHAT AN IDIOT FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN!!"
