ZetaDisplay: Starts a digital production agency for multi-channel communication in the retail sector

Sweden, 2013-12-05 09:36 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

NASDAQ OMX-listed ZetaDisplay is now starting Sweden’s first digital production agency, ZetaStudio, specialising in digital communication within the retail sector. Fast-growing ZetaDisplay is the Nordic leader in multi-channel communication for retailers and has business links in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia and the Netherlands.

“Today’s consumers react immediately and positively to the effects of digital communication. Direct, targeted and result-oriented multi-channel communication is much more efficient than traditional communication through analogue channels. We see a vigorously growing demand for holistic solutions for digital communication, to include the production of content, technology and operation. With the experience we have garnered via clients and a series of research projects, we can satisfy the need that this market has engendered,” says Leif Liljebrunn, CEO of ZetaDisplay AB (publ).

ZetaStudio is to start in both Malmö and Stockholm, and will consist of 10 staff in 2014, filling the posts of Project Manager, Key Account Manager, Creative Director, Art Director/Motion Designer and web developer. The next step is to expand within the markets where the company is operating. With the aid of the company’s existing solutions for fast and flexible communication in all channels, based on 10 years of experience and research into consumer behaviour, ZetaStudio will be able to offer complete solutions to existing clients and to others who want to start working in the digital field. ZetaDisplay’s solutions assist retail stores to reach different customer groups by means of time and customer adapted communication in the stores, on mobile phones and even at home.

A Swedish name for Digital Signage translates as digital retailing communications. Solutions based on digital displays form a large part of the market, but development is proceeding towards the utilisation of more digital channels to communicate customer offers and other information. This is a matter of solutions that are integrated into social media and web sites, and apps for smart mobile phones and tablets which create interaction with customers. Development is also progressing towards integrating solutions with retailers’ cash desks for automatic price updating and the automatic switching of offers on the digital displays.
