Quest Water Global Receives First Purchase Order Valued at $1.8 Million
Quest Water Global, Inc. (OTCQB:QWTR) ("Quest" and/or "Quest Water" and or "Company"), an innovative water technology company, and developer of the AQUAtap™ Community Drinking Water Station and WEPSTM Water Extraction and Purification System, announced today it has received its first purchase order for the Company’s AQUAtap™ Community Drinking Water Stations. The $1.8 million, 15-unit order is the initial purchase of a minimum of 150 AQUAtap™ systems that the Company’s Angolan partner Nurcil Trading - Comércio e Indústria, Lda. ("NTCI") will market independently to private and non-profit organizations in Angola.
"This much anticipated first purchase order is a major milestone for Quest Water," said John Balanko, Quest Water Global CEO & President. "We have seen interest in our technology build in Angola over the past two years, and having NTCI demonstrate acceptance of our product with this significant purchase further establishes our presence as we move toward finalizing an Agreement with the Angolan government.”
AQUAtap™ units for this order will be built in Mexico and shipped to Angola to ensure Quest Water fills the order in an efficient and timely manner. The conclusion of an Agreement with the Angolan Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Energy & Water would see AQUAtap™ systems installed in rural communities throughout Angola under the Country’s Water for All program. This will lead to the construction of an AQUAtap™ fabrication and assembly facility in the Viana Industrial Park, 30 kilometers east of Angola’s capital of Luanda. AQUAtap™ Community Drinking Water Stations for the Angolan market will be built and assembled in Viana once the plant is operational.
