Marani Brand's exclusive sponsorship will allow the Company to hold title to the World Speed Record from San Francisco, CA to Los Angeles, CA by the Famous Outlaw Offshore Boat. The Owner, Founder world record holder Robert Russell will be Captain along with one Co-Captain. The 50', 10,000 lbs., 3200 hp carbon fiber vessel can exceed 200 mph.
The event starting point (a running start permitted) shall be at the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California and the finish line located at the Marina del Rey, California Harbor North breakwater. The APBA officials shall officially record the precise times for the start and finish.
