Baja (outside of Tijuana),especially a tourist cash cow like Ensenada,is suppose to be 1 of the safest places in Mexico -patrolled by military/military checkpoints, a navy and army base etc, which is why I was surprised when my dd discovered Brads wife was 1of ca 92 Ensenada area citizens who signed a local community newsletter petition inveighing against local corruption and kidnappings

so Brad is aware of the problem-when my late best friend was going to visit the mine his brother, who lives in Calif but also has a place in Mexico, warned him not to go because of a spate of kidnappings of rich americans- my friend was no longer rich -the great recession eliminated all work for his co and he dragged me into this to help him avoid foreclosure with my profits (what profits?)-but then the market turned against us and the political machinery/agencies turned against these pennies, but in ridiculously poor Mexico anybody w more than 2 pairs of shoes might be mistaken as rich

Navial is private and I figure some of Brads officers may not be willing to be public (due to perception they are thus rich and experience kidnapping of family members for ransom until more secure living/schooling arrangements have been obtained) so I contemplated this as 1 of the possible reasons Brad hasnt supplied a list of officers yet- perhaps some were not willing to be officers of public CWRN for this security reason

Bob was a regular guy- u could tell from pics- not a suit - and reportedly well liked by his employees, and his wife is Mexican (as is Brads wife) so this was apparently not a problem for Bob,who had as per last filing hocked himself to his eyeballs (to the tune of 1.6 mill plus interest) to help get this going and so was not rich and was a local fixture
