if u need a scale on the last post map, the entrance channel 16 m deep is 150m wide
below is the nautical chart I've posted several times-though this particular post one is distorted in vertical to horizontal relationship-
from all this info we delimit the berths that bulkers of various drafts could be heading to-helping us decide which ones could be for CWRN
CWRN berth is Altara pier at Terminal de Usos Multiples (Multiple use terminal)(EIT)
see the 8.7 m indicated at the office pier (deep enough probably for Handymax only) -right end of EIT- which map I just posted indicated was increased to 11.7 m (Supramax capable 50000-60000 DWT)
the soundings, since this is Mexico, are in meters and fractions of meters,not fathoms
Anybody get a better understanding out of my posts re these things or am I speaking to the wind?
