How would Weber know the future to lie about it? One can only predict the future and be right or wrong. Now, could one lie about the future? Yes, but only if one intended to deceive at the moment it was being stated. If you've got an email he wrote somebody where he stated he was going to make up numbers, then there's one way to prove he lied. That's one example of proof. There are many others, most of which would be difficult to get in an average shareholders' hands (though not the SEC or DOJ). So do you have any proof he lied about doubling sales? If not, then he might have and might not have. Either way, it is just one's particular opinion that he lied or not. Thus, your statement, "...why does he flat out lie?" is ludicrous.
