$LCDX Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics Appoints Steven M. Ridge and Ben J. Alexander as Regional Sales Managers for West and Midwest
Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics (OTCQB:LCDX), formerly Lucid, Inc., has appointed Steven M. Ridge as Midwestern Regional Sales Manager and Ben J. Alexander as Western Regional Sales Manager, both newly created positions. Each will be focused on further developing the Company's sales initiatives for its VivaScope® platform in the West and Midwest regions of the United States. The FDA-cleared VivaScope® devices provide patients the option of a painless, noninvasive optical skin biopsy in lieu of expensive and painful traditional skin biopsy while also having potential applications in several other medical and research specialties.

Mr. Ridge has more than 30 years of biomedical sales experience. He most recently served as Bioscience Sales Specialist-Midwest Region at Nikon Instruments Inc. Prior to this, he was VP of Marketing for three divisions within Roper Industries' Imaging Group, where he produced $10M in new sales by introducing globally nine new products to market in two years. Earlier, he held various sales and marketing positions at a series of companies including Fryer Company Inc. and Leica Microsystems Inc. He holds a BS degree from Iowa State University.
Mr. Alexander has nearly 30 years experience in sales and biomedical research. He most recently served as Technical Microscopy Specialist at McBain Systems/Leica Microsystems, where he represented the companies' industrial, forensic and educational accounts in Southern California. Among his accomplishments, he increased territory sales by 20 percent in 2012. Prior to this, he served as Western Territory Manager at Biolog, Inc. Earlier, he held sales positions at Thermo Electron Corp. (now ThermoFisher) and ISC BioExpress. He holds a BS degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
