In general, it is my perception that the components of the basher community like to focus obsessively on one tiny area of the big picture, because within that area they believe they can have their way and prove that they have got something right through applying hypercritical, instrinsically destructive, blind alley attitudes.
However talented and dedicated management teams of microcap companies may be, most of them have to work in conditions and situations that make decision-making a hugely difficult process calling for resourcefulness, flexibility, inventiveness, and where, in any case, the apparently 'ideal, perfect situations' are just not on the table or even in sight..
As I see it, any rarely mentioned suggestions of the bashers (no this, no that – for example, no kind of short-term funding to allow revenue streams to get going and improve a company's standing and status) would lead directly to total parlysis and/or the wasting of the limited amounts of funds that are currently available on targets or objectives that would bring no practical benefits whatever and just wouldn't allow companies to move ahead and get the job done. They end up constructing a personal environment where their greatest gratification takes the form of causing problems to others, and making life difficult for others. Who would ever give such individuals a position of responsibility, let alone appoint them to become CEO of a company? They cannot resist the temptation to act out a destructive role, and never get an inch beyond that.
They suffer from a form of social invalidity that has its pathological side, so part of the task of positive investors and commentators is to find the right strategies for dealing with them. As their classic mode is the creation of concern, worry, fear and panic, along an ascending scasle, there are precise parallels with the problems of dealing with forms of terrorism. It's no easy task, but let's keep in mind that they are, to their hollow core, non-achievers and losers. The best laugh is the last laugh, and that belongs by right to the constructors and achievers.
