Medical cannabis not yet legal in NY. Lower house passed bill, by big margin 2:1, approving medical cannabis for very ill and decriminalization of open view (although joints in pocket or hidden from view were decriminalized years ago. "Open your pockets, kid. Ok, you're busted." Who said laws have to make sense?), but bill got stalled in NY Senate 2013. They try again in 2014.
