Fusion Telecommunications International, Inc. (OTC: FSNN) said its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013, showed revenues of USD14.8m, an increase of USD4.9m, or 49%, from the third quarter of 2012.
Revenues from Fusion´s business services segment increased by USD7.2m to USD7.8m in the third quarter of 2013 compared to the same period of a year ago, and reflects the inclusion of revenue contributed by NBS, which the company acquired on October 29, 2012. The company´s Carrier Services revenue for the third quarter decreased by USD2.4m, or 25.1%, from the third quarter of 2012, mainly due to a decrease in the volume of traffic terminated over its network.
Net loss for the third quarter was USD2.2m, or (USD0.01) per share, as compared to a net loss of USD1.6m, or (USD0.01) per share in the same period of a year ago.
