Borisov, Joins Mindpix (MPIX) as Technical Advisor
MIAMI BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 18, 2013) - Mindpix Corporation (OTC Pink: MPIX); ("Mindpix" or the "Company"), a technology driven media services company focused on owning, creating and/or managing multi-platform Music, Entertainment and Sports and US Hispanic properties, today announced that the company has brought on digital media and branding specialist Gennadiy Mark Borisov as its Technical Advisor.
Currently the Head of Technology, Product and Corporate Development at PayMeOn Corporation, a Miami-based technology leader focused on the monetization of consumers' social networks otherwise known as "social commerce," Borisov specializes in digital media, product development, marketing and advertising. He brings to Mindpix more than 20 years of hands on experience working with global Fortune-500 brands to startup companies. In his new role, he will be advising the Company on all aspects of its business including the engineering and operational development of the new production center in Miami, technology development of on-demand and live online streaming products and services, as well as marketing and sales initiatives directed at the promotion of its live and online events and mobile applications across multiple platforms.
Prior to joining PayMeOn, Borisov was the Vice President of Global Digital Media, Products and Strategy for the globally recognized brand IMAX Corporation. There he led the team to bolster IMAX's global digital presence via digital media and e-commerce initiatives across web, mobile, connected devices and social media verticals. Mr. Borisov was instrumental in launching IMAX's web presence in China and re-launching IMAX.com to support theaters in 52 countries in seven languages -- as a result receiving the Silver ADDY Award for the new IMAX.com in 2011.
Before his successes at IMAX, Borisov was the Chief Technology and Product Officer at Maxim Digital/Alpha Media Group out of New York from 2007 to 2009, the company responsible for publishing Maxim, the most popular men's magazine worldwide. There he was a key player in running Maxim.com and Blender.com with more than 8 million unique monthly visitors. Borisov has also held positions with Viacom/MTV in New York from 1999 to 2006 and founded MTV Networks in Ukraine.
Borisov holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Technology from the National Technical University of Ukraine and a B.S. in Applied Science & Technology from Thomas A. Edison College in Trenton, New Jersey.
