Ecrypt Technologies Files Statement of Trade Name
The Company Furthers Brand Appeal by Simplifying Name
BOULDER, CO--(Marketwired - Nov 18, 2013) - As a part of its marketing strategy, Ecrypt Technologies (OTCQB: ECRY) filed a Statement of Trade Name whereby it slightly altered the spelling of its name from "eCrypt" to "Ecrypt.
"This is a small change that we believe will have a big impact," stated Brad Lever, Ecrypt CEO. "Creating a strong identity is a critical part of building a memorable brand."
This change is a result of the Brand Development process Ecrypt underwent with marketing Director, Chris Neary.
"This is an important part of maturing into a commercialized company," commented Chris Neary, Ecrypt's Marketing Director, formerly Marketing Director at Canada's telecommunications giant Telus. "It makes the name more legible and brand easily recognizable."
Additionally, this change will enable Ecrypt to stand apart from imitators. Since inception, Ecrypt Technologies has gained much attention from around the globe. As a result, companies bearing the Company's likeness in name, and even a previous version of its logo, have emerged.
