NEW YORK--( BUSINESS WIRE )--The 22nd Annual Baron Investment Conference drew over 4,000 Baron Funds' shareholders today at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City.

“We've hosted the conference for 22 years so that Baron Funds' shareholders can 'kick the tires' of their investment, better understand our investment process and the qualities and type of leadership we look for when making our investments.”

Shareholders of the 13 Baron Funds were invited to the all-day conference, which included presentations from five CEOs of businesses in which the funds have invested (see below). Those presentations were followed by remarks from Baron Capital Group President Linda Martinson, then a panel of Baron fund managers who were questioned by Under Armor CEO Kevin Plank, the moderator of the open session.

The presentations were concluded with remarks from Ron Baron, Baron Capital Group Chairman and CEO.

There was also entertainment provided by Barbra Streisand, Counting Crows, Melissa Etheridge and Katharine McPhee.
