Exxon Mobil – A regulatory filing showed Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway had purchased a 40-million share stake in the oil producer. Share rose slightly in after-hours trading.
Agilent Technologies Inc. – Shares rallied in extended-hours trading after the company posted earnings per share above consensus estimates and said it expects the company to split in November 2014.
Applied Materials – The chip-gear manufacturer reported fourth-quarter revenue of $1.99 billion, just under the $1.974 billion estimates. Shares dropped slightly in after-hours trading.
Kimberly-Clark Shares jumped on extended-hours trading after the maker of Kleenex tissues company said its board had authorized the possible spin off of its health-care unit.
Trulia – Its shares fell after the company’s CEO dismissed talk that his company was in acquisition talks.
Nordstrom – The luxury retailer’s shares slipped in extended-hours trading after it reported a drop in third-quarter net income.
