a.i.s. AG / Release of an announcement according to Article 37x of the WpHG [the German Securities Trading Act] 14.11.2013 15:29 Interim report according to Article 37x of the WpHG, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EQS Group AG. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birkenau, 14.11.2013: As reported, the trade in copper could not develop as planned after the first quarter. The company has therefore expanded the priorities in the variety of products, reducing its dependence on one commercial product and to improve sustainability of the business. Also improvements in the financial reports and the Annual General Meeting conducted in the third quarter, the first since 2004, have supported this process, since the beginning of 2013 conditions. As major result of the general shareholders meeting the new authorized capital can be mentioned. With this capital, the company will after implementation thus be in a position to improve their earnings from the trade and to achieve the business objectives and the energy and environmental technology in addition to trading. To implement this authorized capital an issue brochure has been commissioned. These will be submitted to the approval bodies in the coming weeks, the implementation itself will then be phased in from 2014. In the third quarter, the first results of diversification could also be obtained commercially. The a.i.s. AG has now also commenced trading of nickel and tin. However, legislative changes in the handling of commodity exchange in Germany have an aggravating effect on the logistics of merchandise shop. New potential in solid trade, however, are now being developed. As announced, we have already delayed energy trading earlier this year. In the third quarter of new trade partnerships have emerged in the context of diversification, which will also support future business. The further development in the energy sector will now depend on the capital measures and investment planning in the coming year. Since the Annual Meeting having been held, the interest of investors has increased. Various approaches are under consideration now. In this regard, the possible involvement of the company in a biogas plant has been well received. For funding also this project, separate negotiations are underway to allow funding this year, the latest in the first quarter of 2014. The a.i.s. AG has thus directed in the last reporting period, his focus on the diversification of its offer and expanding the market. We expect and are now counting on that to strengthen the capital base of the AG will promote an improvement in profitability and the diversification of products. 14.11.2013 DGAP's Distribution Services include Regulatory Announcements, Financial/Corporate News and Press Releases.
