BeBevCo Signs National Distribution Agreement in Columbia
STATESVILLE, N.C., Oct. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bebida Beverage Company (OTC markets: BBDA) (BeBevCo), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of Relaxation drinks and energy products announced today the company has signed an exclusive distribution partnership with Food and Drinks Inc., based in Medellin, Colombia. The company will add KOMA Unwind Relaxation drinks, as well as the POTENICA Blast Energy Shots, to their product portfolio.
Food and Drinks Inc. has stated that through a network of distributors and their own direct network, BeBevCo's products will be hitting store shelves before the Holiday season.
"This is a huge step toward developing KOMA Unwind as not just a national brand, but as an international brand as well," said BeBevCo CEO Brian Weber. "Colombia is our first South American country and we expect adding more companies in the coming weeks. Introducing our product to over 40 million Colombia citizens will have a profound effect to BeBevCo's overall shareholder value as we expect to move 36,000 cases in our first year. As an added benefit, we continue to create jobs here in the United States as our products are completely manufactured in the USA."
Daisy Ramirez, Chief Operating Officer of BeBevCo, offered, "We are working feverishly on documentation to get Food and Drinks Inc., their first 1,200 cases, which will included bi-lingual labels (stickers). A newly designed can of KOMA Unwind will utilize bi-lingual labeling will go into production in late November and should arrive by Christmas.
"This partnership is another significant step for us. Earlier in the year we added the Dominican Republic and now Colombia. By this time next year, our goal is to have everyone in Latin America know about KOMA Unwind and the relaxation revolution," she added.
Thursday's announcement continues an upward trend for the KOMA Unwind Relaxation brand since being featured in the Wall Street Journal and the Beverage Industry magazine.
