QPR Suite 2014 – providing insight to your operations
Helsinki – QPR Software announced today that it will start distributing the new 2014 version of QPR Suite on January 8 th 2014. QPR Suite 2014 includes QPR’s comprehensive software portfolio for operational development: QPR EnterpriseArchitect, QPR ProcessDesigner, QPR Metrics and QPR ProcessAnalyzer.
“With the new QPR Suite 2014, our focus has been on supporting business management and enterprise architects in various business transformation and operational development cases such as mergers, changes in business models, and IT investments. We recognized the need to complement the tool with an integrated methodology for enterprise architecture based operational development (QPR ODM), and optimized the tool features to support it.” says Mr. Jaakko Riihinen, SVP Products & Technology at QPR Software.
QPR EnterpriseArchitect and its process modeling focused variant QPR ProcessDesigner continue to provide great flexibility in terms of a configurable meta-model. They also provide off-the-shelf templates and demo-models which can be fully or partially applied to own model creation while supporting ArchiMate 2.0 and TOGAF ® compliance. “This release addresses also many other enterprise level requirements, like integration with office tools, content management platforms, and reporting services. In addition to these, there is a plethora of small usability improvements both in the designer client and Web portal”, says Mrs. Maija Erkheikki, VP Channel Sales and Russian Business.
QPR Metrics, corporate performance monitoring software, is enhanced with various features improving efficiency and possibilities to customize. “With recent capacity and performance improvements, QPR Metrics continues to be one of the fastest corporate performance monitoring tools to deploy. It is also the perfect companion to QPR EnterpriseArchitect for integrating performance measurement and risk management directly in the enterprise architecture models”, adds Maija Erkheikki.
QPR Portal has added support for new browser versions and several improvements related to viewing, reporting, printing, and office tools integration. “Collaboration in operational development is key and QPR Portal helps all stakeholders be involved and getting the right information at the right time”, summarizes Jaakko Riihinen.
QPR ProcessAnalyzer, automated business process discovery software, now delivers powerful ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) features. Automated data integrations and data transformation can be done within the software itself. Furthermore, it can be set-up to send email notifications of process state to the organization or even to end customers. “QPR ProcessAnalyzer provides data driven approach to process improvement and management. It gives the means not only to get the ‘as-is’ picture of processes for driving operational development but also delivers tools for operational management to proactively manage day-to-day operations and process performance”, says Mika Leonsaari, Director of Global ABPD Business.
QPR Suite 2014 software products are standalone but together ensure that all parts of operational development can be covered. Launched globally, QPR Suite 2014 is available in over 20 languages.
