Thanks for the explanation and the math. It is encouraging to hear that #3 and its kilns are in fine shape after these two initial long runs. I only wish that Bordynuik would not advertize "maximizing feed rates" until they are actually ready to do so. Setting expectations has long been a problem, but in spite of this I see steady progress... slower than everyone would like, but progress nonetheless.
