It means what I've said all along. I never believed the technology was a scam. I always understood that there is a risk investing in unproven technology. They are struggling with scaling up the process. The backend refinery is an improvement over the original design. They might not be able to overcome the technical issues week enough too make the conversion of plastic to fuel very profitable. I still think they can get it to the point where systems can be sold to applications that have lotsof plastic waste in a relatively clean and uniform form. There are plenty of those applications.
And just maybe they can continue to improve the process to the point where turning plastic into fuel can itself be done profitably. But that is seeking less and less likely.
The greatest concern is they will run out of money before either can be achieved.
