The math works out to 129.8k gal sold at a price of $2.14/gal vs. costs of $2.03/gal.
That leaves 40.9k gallons produced that were not sold. I'm not quite sure how they get $144k in finished goods inventory from that, especially since they only have 45k gal capacity at the plant. My take is they did not have enough buyers lined up to sell it all. For a company starved for cash, I think they would have sold it if they could. I also think that explains why they haven't ramped up production more on #3.
