Stocks are too frothy vs. don’t worry: more market watchers join the debate
U.S. stocks have surged enough and are due for a correction, according to a growing number of market observers.
Yet others have a different take. The folks over at Schaeffer’s Investment Research, for example, note that analyst ratings for S&P 500 stocks suggest that you don’t need to worry.
At this point, about 46% of all analyst ratings on S&P 500 stocks are buys. That’s down from 56% in late 2011. And it’s well below the 73% seen near the market top in 2000.
Stocks “peak at euphoria and this is one major sign we are still a long ways away from that,” http://blogs.marketwatch.com/thetell/2013/11/...he-debate/
