No doubt about it, K is the 800lb gorilla in the room. I understand your perspective on B and P, but to me there is immense value there and I am excited about both, but specifically the oral mucositis trial for B which I believe will be a total slam dunk. But it really does speak volumes about the staggering potential of Kevetrin, and of the CTIX pipeline in general, when we have the luxury of glossing over parts of the pipeline that literally could and literally HAVE been the flagship drug for another company. We have 3 legit chances to hit a home run, with K being the equivalent of hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth in game 7 of the world series.
Regarding P21, i am as anxious as anyone, but here at this point I am willing to cut Leo and Dr. m some slack. With the obvious p21 lab leadership changes and testing delays, I think Leo and Dr. menon were caught off guard in a tough spot there from the get go.
With that said, To me the most relevant comment I recall reading from I believe dmatt who attended the r&r conference, was when he mentioned that Dr Menon was very hesitant to talk about P21 confirmation and stressed the importance of needing to verify much more solidly with more data and testing. I think we who follow this investment so closely really do become desensitized to how important of an announcement the activation of the guardian angel gene in humans is. I mean, what a freakin awesome marketing and social media talking point. All we need is for one saavy media outlet to catch on to "the guardian angel drug" and it could be an explosion of press coverage since its so easy for the general public to understand.
But having said all that, i believe they have the undeniable data in hand now, but are waiting for the right moment to release. Hopefully its soon, because we are all damn anxious to hear it. I am hopeful we get it ASAP, i think it will come before xmas. Tme will tell.
