LCDX Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics Reports Third Quarter 2013 Results


Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics (OTCQB:LCDX), formerly Lucid, Inc., has released its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013. The Company has filed its Form 10-Q for the period ending September 30, 2013 which can be found on the Securities and Exchange Commission's website at www.sec.gov.
Business Highlights for the Third Quarter 2013:

• Announced two new distributors for its platform of VivaScope® confocal microscopes: Emdutos Industria e Comercio Ltda in the Brazilian market and Equipmed in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

• Introduced the VivaScope 1500 Multilaser System, which includes three lasers of different wavelengths that can be used in fluorescence-mode imaging to enhance image contrast when combined with dyes that are FDA-approved for human use.

• Significantly reduced costs as a result of product development programs initiated internally in 2012, including a redesign of optical and electrical components within the in-vivo confocal imagers to improve quality, manufacturability and functionality.

• Continued to receive positive client feedback about VivaScope systems from physicians and researchers at major hospitals and from pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies across the globe.

• Initiated recruitment efforts to bolster the executive management team as well as adding industry veterans to operations, sales and marketing.

• Acknowledged recent addition of confocal microscopy for the clinical management of basal cell carcinoma to the Guideline published by the European Dermatology Forum, reporting that confocal microscopy "has shown high diagnostic accuracy for the diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma."

• Presented VivaScope imaging technology and corporate growth strategy at AdvaMed 2013: The MedTech Conference in Washington, DC (September).

• Described and demonstrated VivaScope devices at the Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference in New York City (September).

• Demonstrated VivaScope 3000 portable handheld confocal microscope system at the 1st Latin American Congress of Dermoscopy in Sao Paulo, Brazil (October).

• Exhibited VivaScope 1500 Multilaser and VivaScope 3000 portable handheld confocal microscope systems at the 64th American Association for Laboratory Animal Science National Meeting in Baltimore (October).
