I am one of the posters that does not post near as much as I did before. It has nothing to do with any poster because like most all of you someone calling me out from a computer bothers me about as much as butterflies on a warm spring day. I will say this. I understand the frustrations of some about the lack of creditability. I understand why some here would like it if the time lines were not given or if they were just met. I do understand that TECO has made plenty of foot in the mouth PR's in the past. I spend most of my time in the oil patch. Let me tell you guys something about the oil field, we keep it moving fast as we can and most of the time it seems like we are standing still. Delays do happen. I know that it seems like these delays are just more of the same from Treaty but IMO things are changing. I question why we have not completed the Stockton #2 yet, I do. Then I think back to the heavy rain that hit W Texas and know that the rigs are many, many, many 1000's of pounds. They are driving down dirt roads, not pavement. These conditions could cause major delays if they had tried to move the rig before the ground dried. It is not enough rednecks with 4 wheel drives in Texas to pull one of those rigs out of a hole. After the ground dried we were waiting on a permit for the Mitchell #5 before we moved the rig. Unforeseen problems that TECO could not have know about no matter how much digging they done, prevented this. The good side of that is TECO did not allow the rig to go on another job, they had another permit ready and put it to work when they found out the bad news on the Mitchell #5. This is something we have never seen from TECO before. They planned and prevented a failure. The completion rig could not be moved onto the Stockton #2 until the drilling rig had moved off location. After the drilling rig had moved it does take time to set up. They informed us a while back that drilling was 24/7 but the completion was daylight only. I can see how 5 new wells by the EOY will be difficult, but if these next few permits go through without a hitch, weather permits, and this company drills as fast as they have been on the Stocktons, it is very possible. As far as the Q's goes, I have zero idea about that. I do wish they would get them out and get the not so great news behind us. I do feel confident that they are working on them and will deliver them as fast as possible. I don't have a problem with any of you longs on here. I think we have all been shut up in this little room for too long like another poster stated. Pump, rant, talk about you dogs, 5:00 somewhere, or whatever, to each his or her own. That is my story.
P.S. HEY Steed and all you other GEAUX Tigers nuts, ROLL TIDE ROLL BABY!!!!!!!
