SCKT Socket Mobile Realigns Pricing for its Family of Colorful Bluetooth Barcode Scanners
NEWARK, Calif., Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Socket Mobile, Inc. (OTC: SCKT), an innovative provider of mobile productivity solutions, today announced realignment of pricing for its family of colorful Cordless Hand Scanner (CHS) Series 7 Bluetooth barcode scanners for use with Smartphones and Tablets running operating systems from Apple, Google, Blackberry and Microsoft. The scanners are available in red, blue, yellow, white and gray. Socket's price alignments further the Company's efforts to offer barcode scanners which are of exceptional value without sacrificing features or function.
Standard case models in vivid colors include the 7Ci, 7Mi and 7Qi.
The CHS 7Ci is the smallest, lightest and most affordable CHS model in the family. As with all the models in the CHS range, the CHS 7Ci provides 10m Bluetooth range and a 1D (Imager) engine. It offers the user an excellent value general purpose scanning solution for multiple applications.
At the center of the family is the CHS 7Mi featuring a Class 2 laser engine ideal for applications with special barcode requirements or for use in challenging light conditions. The CHS 7Mi works well in bright sunlight and in low lighting and with barcodes that are small, tightly spaced on shiny surfaces or behind plastic or glass.
Completing the family is the newest addition, the CHS 7Qi, which reads both 1D and 2D barcodes. It is a high performance barcode scanner which can read barcodes from device screens.
