Old Line Bank Strengthens Management Team and Adds

BOWIE, Md., Nov. 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Old Line Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: OLBK ), the parent company of Old Line Bank, announced the addition of two new senior level officers to the Bank's management team to support its Marketing and Mortgage Banking Divisions.

Jeanette Vaughn recently joined the Bank as Senior Vice President, Marketing Director. In this role, Ms. Vaughn will manage the Bank's community relations programs and corporate marketing initiatives to include special events, advertising, promotions and corporate branding objectives.

With over 15 years of marketing experience, Ms. Vaughn has served as a marketing director within the shopping center retail industry and most recently, as the Marketing Director at Bay Bank in Lutherville, Maryland. Ms. Vaughn was instrumental in the execution of the recent acquisition of Carrollton Bank by Bay Bank in April of this year.

A ten-year Maryland resident, Ms. Vaughn received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University and currently lives near the Bank's corporate headquarters in Bowie, MD.

Kenneth A. Sonner has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President in the Mortgage Banking Division. Mr. Sonner will lead the team of mortgage lenders and the Bank's efforts to grow productivity and expand markets within the residential mortgage sector, as well as enhance the level of personal, dedicated and knowledgeable mortgage service provided to customers.

With an extensive business and mortgage banking career, Mr. Sonner brings over 25 years of industry expertise to Old Line Bank, serving in various roles at local and national institutions. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Sonner served as the Vice President of Specialty Lending at Alliance Bank of Arizona. Sonner also led the residential lending team at Eagle Bank and exponentially grew the department in both loan volume and expanded consumer markets.

Mr. Sonner holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Sonner also serves on the Board of Governors for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington. A Maryland native, Mr. Sonner currently resides in Rockville, MD.
