Why would DUTV state that the gag is gone if the scenario you present is true? Also, why would they present specific times and dates for news when they have no certainty themselves as to when these "Hunters " & "Gatherers" will be done with their tasks?
Based on DUTV's actions over the past 9 months, They do not appear to follow the logic of what you are proposing. If DUTV were truly in the "Lion's Den", business sense would dictate that they keep completely quiet until all ducks were in order. No need to make any statements at all if there is certainty that actions will bring tangible value to the share price. the actions will do all the work.
Thus far their statements to investors have been severely unprofessional and indicative of a company lacking in savvy regarding investor communications/relations. Even if your scenario were true I would expect that the "Lion" who's den DUTV is supposedly in, would be watching all DUTV activities and instructing them to not post any statements AT ALL to avoid the very leaks that their "Hunters" & "Gatherers" were out dealing with.
We can come up with any number of scenarios that may be going on behind the scenes but they should at least find some sort of corroboration with the known actions of DUTV. DUTV's actions don't indicate that they are in the "Lion's Den". At best I see DUTV still attempting to capture the Lion's attention so that they can get invited to the table.
Most illuminating is the failure of the TORQ deal to bring any further clarity to the value of DUTV, even after 9 months.
