Tauriga Sciences Inc. (OTCQB:TAUG) or ("Tauriga" or "the Company"), a diversified company focused on generating profitable revenues through license agreements and the development of a proprietary technology platform in the nanorobotics space, has today announced the appointment of Jason C. Heikenfeld Ph.D ("Dr. Heikenfeld") as the third member of company's scientific advisory board. Dr. Heikenfeld currently serves as Director of the Novel Devices Laboratory ("NDL") at the University of Cincinnati, where he is an internationally known expert in the fields of electrofluidics and flex-electronics. His main objectives will be to assist the company in conducting important laboratory work and the designing of an industry specific Bacterial Robot ("BactoBot") prototype for the nuclear power industry.
Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Heikenfeld stated, "The University of Cincinnati is excited to participate in Tauriga's effort, bringing to the project world-class rapid-prototyping and engineering of fluidic devices within the Ohio Center of Microfluidic Innovation and the Novel Devices Laboratory. This is a perfect confluence of the right factors: enormous un-met market opportunity, solid business strategy, and now, full access for Tauriga to the multidisciplinary talent required for technology development."

Tauriga's CEO Seth M. Shaw commented, "The company is pleased to have Dr. Heikenfeld join its scientific advisory board as his knowledge base and world class experience are important assets to the Company moving forward. We look forward to working with the University of Cincinnati's prestigious laboratories in developing a new technology platform capable of benefiting both industry and society."
