Marcel Kokkeel, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Citycon Oyj since March 2011. Citycon is a market leader in the Finnish shopping centre business, the second largest in Sweden and has a firm foothold in the Baltic countries being the market leader in Estonia. Before joining Citycon, Mr. Kokkeel was an executive board member at Multicorporation B.V from 2006 to 2011. He was heading the West-Europe Division and he also served as the chairman of Multi Mall Management.

From 2004 to 2006 he acted as the Chairman of the Board of Bouwfonds Property Finance. He held various positions in Royal Ahold N.V. Group from 1985 to 2004, lastly as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ahold Real Estate Europe. Mr. Kokkeel holds an M.A. (Notary Law).
