AB Linas Agro Group acquired shares of AS Putnu fa

Panevezys, Lithuania, 2013-10-30 08:00 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AB Linas Agro Group acquired 87% of shares in Latvian company AS Putnu fabrika Kekava. From the date of the permission of the Competition Council of the Republic of Latvia to proceed with a relevant transaction (announced on 28 October 2013) AB Linas Agro Group obtained voting rights granted by the shares of AS Putnu fabrika Kekava, i.e. from that moment AB Linas Agro Group has all rights granted by the shares of AS Putnu fabrika Kekava. The company has paid 1.4 million euros for the shares.
AS Putnu fabrika Kekava is the largest of the purchased Latvian poultry companies (in addition, shares in the following companies are purchased: SIA Broileks, SIA Cerova and SIA Lielzeltini). Revenue of AS Putnu fabrika Kekava was EUR 33 million in 2012.
