In keeping with its acquisition strategy to establish a major residential real estate portfolio in Germany, ADLER Real Estate Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt/M., (ISIN DE0005008007) plans to take an indirect stake in three further residential real estate portfolios and has therefore acquired an interest in the shareholder of three real estate holding companies, which together hold 1,769 apartments and 137 commercial units with total living and usable space of 113,526 square meters. The purchase agreement is to be implemented soon. The properties in the portfolios are divided among 6 federal states: Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Thuringia, North-Rhine Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Most of the apartments are located in Rostock, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Leipzig, Kiel, Hagen and Lübeck.
