Avis Forms New Partnership With FlightBridge PARSI

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Oct. 28, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avis Car Rental today announced that it has established a new partnership with FlightBridge, Inc., creators of FlightBridge, an online reservation and communication tool that connects general aviation aircraft operators and their service providers. FlightBridge automates trip-related service requests such as car rental bookings, catering orders, hotel accommodations and airport service center/Fixed Base Operator (FBO) arrangements.

As part of the new multi-year agreement, Avis will be featured on FlightBridge to provide customers with online access and availability to rental vehicles at FBOs in North America. Once an Avis reservation is made via FlightBridge, all rental information and any subsequent changes are automatically confirmed and integrated with a customer's trip itinerary. Then, Avis will fulfill the reservation at the appropriate date and time, by delivering the vehicle to the customer at the FBO designated on the reservation.
