To help meet rising global demand for business jets, On the Move Systems Corp. (OTCBB:OMVS) is exploring new ways to offer executive travelers first-class air charter service without the wince-inducing costs associated with buying a plane.
Reuters reported last week that sales of business jets are expected to reach $18.4 billion this year, up about eight percent from 2012. It’s a strong sign that demand for executive air travel is on the rise, especially in emerging markets such as China and Latin America.
OMVS is building a new online transportation portal designed to offer niche travel options—including air charter services—that aren’t offered by its larger, more established competitors in the space.
