Acquiring ORIGINAL Corporate licensing for an RMO can take several months but we are very confident in the abilities of our team!
ORION DHC, Inc. LUMBER & LOGGING (DIVISION) will begin providing contract based expert tree service in Early 2014; and commence operations on pre-existing logging timber contracts with private property owners, the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) as well as other state and local government agencies. The ORION DHC, Inc. Lumber & Logging Division will begin production of wood products for residential, camping, meat smoking and for other various commercial applications. The new company division will be managed by a 30 year logging veteran and is, therefore, prepared to manufacture logs for milling into structure building materials, three categories of fuelwood products: Hardwood, Softwood and Blended, and commence tree sevice operations as described above. The goal of the new 2014 division is to capitalize on the needs of the USFS and Residential fire prevention. The recent fires in Northern California are a clear indication regarding the demand for this divisions upcoming services.

The ORION DHC, Inc LUMBER & LOGGING Responsible managing Officer (RMO) has begun the application process for a California Contractor license to ensure future company material supply lines are solid and will last for many years to come. ORION DHC, Inc. (OODH) holds all the applicable permits from the U.S. National Forest Service (USFS) and also multiple contracts on private lands for generating new products. The Regional Fuelwood market is a $13,500,000.00 market , which has over 45,000 homes in the mountainous areas of Northern California using firewood as their PRIMARY heating source. (Methodology: $300 per cord cost (at 2013 competitor price averages) x 45,000 homes = $13.5 MM).
