DOVER, Del., Oct. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tidewater Utilities, Inc., recently presented a check to YWCA Delaware, the beneficiary selected to receive proceeds raised from its 6 ^th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament held August 12 at the Heritage Shores Golf Course in Bridgeville, DE. Tidewater presented YWCA Delaware with a check for $14,245.

Proceeds from this year's outing will help support YWCA Girl, a program that improves the lives of low-income, at-risk girls by helping them graduate from high school, and offering guidance to help them on a path to achieve their higher education and career goals.
