Its important to know when you're having your money tight in a stock, that the underlying company is reliable, very important indeed, so I can see why you make this point. Since you and your group are fairly new in this stock you still need to see words materialize before you can build up some trust. Its not because I say this company is trustworthy, that it therefore is true in your perception, it is up to them to prove that to you, with deeds. Then as time passes you can be somewhat lenient when an update is late. This is spoken from my position in this stock. I've been following this company for almost 3 years, and not once a late regulatory filing, always on time with financials and keeping a database on their website with all the information that has been published since inception. This is a decently run company, not some wild west story stock of the OTC that implodes on a fart. But I get it, it takes time to get acquainted with the company, its not easy to trust a company, but as more developments come to light soon you'll see that what I said in the past will come to fruition! I have a high amount of trust in POET, yet I can also see why this isn't the case with you, yet. No worries! You were introduced to POET and, for you, their first announcement is late! What kind of impression would you get from that eh?! So yes man, I can relate to that, I would be cranky about that too and demanded some straight answers! But I can ensure you that the things I told about are true... and coming our way!
Time is on our side. I may have been wrong with my time frames but not about the technology, the skilled people on board and the vast potential this has! If people fully understood what POET all entails then they would see it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Screw these nervous nellies who caused a minor dip. See it as golden chance to add, I know I did! Its written in the stars that this will be huge! Seriously! All we need is patience... or like you said, wait for the cows to come home LOL Thats why I said "Time is on our side", as people ought to see any dips as ideal loading points, its only a matter of time before big announcements will be made, and in the meantime is time on our side to load up. With many alerts you get you often don't have the time to DD it properly, let alone have time to soak up shares, but with POET you have bro!
Tell your group that this is serious! This is definitely a ground floor opportunity to get on something big before it takes off! Yes, it can take a few months to get the show on the road, but thats our loading zone, and then let it run for months on end, because I expect an increase of heavy impact PR's. Meaning, Milestone 7, with or without a contract or license attached to it. If not then, later. But also the announcement of their first PDA will trigger a buying spree, because then the world will know with what kind of big name they work with! There can be a financial transaction involved, as incentive or first batch of a structured deal. Or they can be paid per reached Milestone, whatever the reason, once there are $$ signs mentioned the stock will really pick up pace IMO. If that doesn't do the trick, we have the 100 nanometer project, which is done on demand of a large player that will POET on the forefront of the bigger tech crowd. Once guys of & Alpha the Motley Fool etc pick on that the ball will be rolling fast, all we need is exposure!
So, we have:
- MS7
- there could be a contract/license after MS7
- First PDA Announcement
- MS5
- & MS8
All of this is expected by, or around New Year... (give or take some weeks after).
No matter when these announcements come, once they do you will have a stock that will climb for weeks and months on end. $1 - $5 is not out of the ordinary. Because we have a revolutionary technology, which is just about to enter the broad tech market, with our industry disruptive products, and once the big investment community picks up on that the word will be rolling over everyone' lips, or via media etc. And then later on our first analysts will pop up... All of that will boost the price. All things considered I think we are at the forefront of an amazing journey... All we need is patience... and cash LOL
