U.S. stocks steady; Nasdaq rises for fourth day

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) – U.S. stocks finished little changed on Monday, with the S&P 500 pausing from its record climb and the Nasdaq Composite extending gains into a fourth session, bolstered by Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) , which rallied ahead of its earnings report, due after the close. At 4 p.m. Eastern, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI JIA) fell 8.03 points to 15,391.62. The S&P 500 index (SNC:SPX) held flat at 1,744.62. The Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQ:COMP) added 5.77 points to 3,920.05.
