This has always been JB's biggest "lie." I never believed the "we will get it for free because we will be saving the companies landfill costs". Maybe at first, but not for long, especially as more and more companies compete for the same waste stream.
That does not mean that the business model can't be made for profitability. Just not the wild-eyed profits hyped in the beginning by management and SMB posters. And spreadsheets.
But don't blame the spreadsheet. Blame the numbers that went into it.
And continue to go into it even in its new form.
Can JBI be first to market with a viable system? That will be important for winning this race.
