In the LOI with Bayano of Panama, we are told at section (6) that the General Congress of the Kuna of Madugandi Reserve has the obligation to apply for and obtain all necessary permits and they must approve the transfer of B & B Madera's rights to the concession to our 80% owned subsidiary Bayano Wood Development. So with the permit issue we would be dependent upon both the Kuna Congress and the Panamanian government. These are conditions for finalizing the agreement.
The Kuna of Madugandi is a small group (less than four thousand it seems) that is self governing and without a web presence. When you search the web, you will probably find photos of the Kuna Yala which live on the coast and on some islands. Their Congress does have a website, but that is a different group. Lets give our management room to be good diplomatic representatives of our interest and hope they come through.
