I have a feeling the feds were rather anxious to dismiss these dispensary forfeiture cases in order to avoid another judicial review by the courts of the blatantly unconstitutional federal forfeiture statute. Since the last judicial review, the attitude of the country has much changed in regard to MJ and MMJ and federal interference. The feds got a very lucrative thing going with this forfeiture statute and perhaps didn't want to see it go away. The feds would also face a sour public reaction if they defended that statute in the courts these days with medical dispensaries as the defendants.
