Their called "Trades" because a buy is ALWAYS required no matter who is getting out or who is getting in, and someone must sell no matter what the price of the stock.
Saying a trade was exclusively either a buy or sell is akin to saying that a Halloween Goblin is the buyer - because oh, rbtree that was a SELL ? Nope it was a trade... ding-a-ling !
