In celebration of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, a group of federal officials, Fortune 500 CEOs and digital industry leaders will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square.
In honor of the occasion, Department of Homeland Security include Acting Secretary Rand Beers and Deputy Undersecretary for Cybersecurity Phyllis Schneck will join National Cyber Security Alliance, Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and other industry leaders to ring the Opening Bell.
This event also marks the launch of a webpage co-sponsored by National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) that will supply executive audiences with an entry point and roadmap to ascertain the cyber risk to their own companies and devise a plan to manage cyber risk.
Following the Bell Opening, CEO participants will be available to talk to the press during a panel discussion. A lunch will follow, where a group of distinguished government and private sector panelists will discuss the role incentives play in increasing adoption of strong cybersecurity practices by industry.
